Women and girls all over the world – now is your time to shine and make your voices heard!
The G(irls) 20 Summit is a global campaign dedicated to creating concrete ideas on how to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) affecting women and girls. The MDGs are eight goals created to address social and economic conditions in the developing world by 2015. The goals are:
- Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger
- Achieve universal primary education
- Promote gender equality and empower women
- Reduce child mortality
- Improve maternal health
- Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other diseases
- Ensure environmental sustainability
- Develop a global partnership for development
The G(irls)20 Summit is dedicated to putting the issues affecting women at the forefront and address them at the G20 Summit in June. However WE NEED YOUR HELP to raise awareness and spread the word about the summit and join this global movement for change. How you can help?
